Mind-Body
Health
Improving Productivity through
Understanding the Body-Mind Connection
Overview
Are you interested in enhancing your performance,
improving your health, and finding a greater sense of peace
and well-being? Science has proven that the body and mind
are not really two separate things, but are two aspects of
one unified body/mind. This has great implications for the
overall quality of your life experience. Your body is like
a pharmaceutical plant that can produce many different
kinds of chemicals. These chemicals affect your mood, your
health, and your performance. In this session, learn how to
make optional use of the body/mind connection to enhance
your productivity, improve your health, and experience
greater peace of mind.
Objectives
Define body-mind health. Identify the personal and
professional productivity problems caused by compromised
body-mind wellness. Explore current research regarding
body-mind health, and determine implications for personal
and professional productivity. Select specific ideas for
improving your body-mind health, and create an
individualized learning summary to guide you in continuing
to use the ideas and action steps you have selected.
